Alan Payne is a healthcare technology leader with over 30 years of experience driving digital transformation across global healthcare organisations. As Group Product and Engineering Director at The Access Group's Health, Support and Care division, Alan oversees product strategy for solutions that serve 100,000 clinicians daily, support over 39.7 million patients across the UK, and aid over 300 local authority services.
Alan's career spans executive roles at influential healthcare and technology organisations including Chief Information and Product Officer at Sensyne Health, Chief Information Officer at Aetna (CVS Health), and Group Digital Director at Bupa. He founded and successfully sold Healthsolve Ltd, a healthcare IT company specialising in health informatics and telehealth platforms.
As Honorary Professor at University College London since 2010, Alan contributes expertise in disruptive health technologies and ethical AI implementation. He has published extensively on healthcare innovation and serves as Chair of DTC for UCL Financial Centre.
