Mike Gillespie

Mike is a seasoned cybersecurity and data protection expert, a Chartered Institute of Information Security Fellow, and Senior Vice President Europe for CSCIS. He advises on cyber risks, promoting awareness of threats to organisational information assets. A former Director of the Security Institute, he has also served as Cyber Security Lead for the UK Government’s Biometric and Surveillance Camera Commissioner. A frequent media contributor to Computer Weekly and speaker at major events like The Security Event and International Security Expo, Mike sits on Professional Security Magazine's editorial board. He currently leads a subcommittee on AI in healthcare, shaping UK cybersecurity policy.
