Nicola Cain is the founder, CEO and Principal Consultant at Handley Gill Limited, an award-winning legal and regulatory compliance consultancy with specialisms in data protection, AI governance, online safety, information access, ESG and human rights.
Handley Gill services clients in the UK and globally, from start-ups and SMEs to multi-national corporations, across a range of industries including media, social media, financial services and other regulated industries, technology, law enforcement, software development, healthcare, political parties, sport and retail, as well as charities and the public sector.
Nicola holds the IAPP’s CIPP/E and AIGP certifications, has completed the University of Oxford Saïd Business School Oxford AI Programme and is CAIP certified.
Nicola frequently speaks on responsible AI and AI governance issues, and was invited to speak on responsible AI at the UK’s Online Safety Summit Fringe.
