Stephen Edginton is a visionary technology leader shaping the future of AI-powered automation for accountants and small businesses. As Chief Product & Technology Officer at Dext, he leads global teams across Bulgaria, France, UK and the US to deliver intelligent products that redefine how financial professionals work. Under his leadership, Dext has become the leading bookkeeping automation platform in the UK, France, Australia, and Canada serving over half a million small businesses and processing more than 330 million financial documents each year. With a career spanning innovation, product strategy, and large-scale digital transformation, Stephen previously served as Chief Innovation Officer at Epicor Software, where he led the modernisation of legacy ERP systems into scalable cloud-native platforms. Earlier, he co-founded Dot-Net-IT, helping organisations including LEVC and Red Bull Racing navigate complex digital change, before its acquisition by Epicor. Stephen is passionate about the intersection of AI, automation, and human judgment building cultures that prioritise experimentation, adaptability, and learning. His work continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible when people and intelligent systems work together.
