Barney Quinn

Barney Quinn Chair Arkivum & Ambassador Insoft Barney has been Chair of Arkivum the digital preservation company since 2017 and has been an Ambassador for Insoft the software and testing company for many years. He has over 30 years’ experience with technology, software and latterly cloud based companies. For 13 years, Barney was a Director of Sherwood International plc, a provider of software and services to the insurance industry which was listed on the LSE. He was also CEO of Workplace Systems International plc an early provider of cloud-based workforce management software which was Aim listed and which he took private. These major software companies had great success in North America and internationally. The lessons learned and experiences in scaling these businesses internationally as an Executive have been used to help technology and software companies expand in his non-executive career. Historically in the public company world he was in a non-executive capacity Chair of ClearStar Inc, and a Director of Raft International, SSP plc and Rosslyn Data Technologies. Other non-executive roles in private companies have included being Chair of Oxehealth, a director of Concirrus and Chair of Becrypt
